Harvey, the leader of the group, has played music professionally for
years from Fairbanks, Alaska to Key West, Florida and everywhere in
between. Besides fronting his own band, which released a national hit
“I Can’t Reach you, (written by Peter Townshend of the Who), he has
shared bill with many well known groups. His Bands have had write-ups
in Tiger Beat, Cash Box, Billboard and Record World Magazine.
Anthony, on vocals, trumpet and keyboard, has worked with Louie
Belson and other musicians in the area.
Harvey Jr, on bass,has been with Harvey Sr., for the past 10 years.
They have been performing rock, R&B and soul music locally.
Sean, the drummer has worked in the area with Harvey, and the group
Flip Side, now known as Groove Nugget, playing all styles of music.
Max, has eclectic tastes in music - acoustic folk, rock, pop,
blues, funk, country, and bluegrass. He has performed with many
talented artists in northern California. He was a founding member of
the folk guitar duo, Welcome Strangers, which performed rigorously in
the South Bay. Max is now happy playing trumpet and valve trombone
with the OWG
Devik, the newest member is a former John Phillip Souza Award
winner, has played trumpet for 33 years, He recorded with the Cuesta Jazz
ensemble and taught himself piano as well.
